Our Troops

Our Service Unit has 34 troops made up of 463 members.  The break down is 251 girls and 212 adults.  We support Clinton Township and Lebanon Borough and the girls Kindergarten though 12th grade in schools in these towns, SRS, PMG, RVS, CTMS, LBS, ICS, North Hunterdon High School, and Acorn Montessori.  We also support girls form these towns in other private schools in the area and Voorhees High School.

 

The Service Unit is a team of 12 volunteers who manage a calendar for the area and provide support for the 68+ leaders.

* Marched in the Lebanon Borough 4th of July Parade * Started the SU81 OGF * Picked vegetables for Grow-A-Row at Peaceful Valley Orchard * Went to Beach Jam * Helped at the back-to-school Ice Cream party * Volunteered at the back-to-school Pizza party at RVS * conducted a Halloween costume collection * Hosted a Ghoul Scout Costume Party * Held a birthday party for Juliette Gordon Low and hosted an Open House for incoming Girl Scouts * Dedicated a tree and bench at Bunt Park in honor of the 100th year of Girl Scouting in the USA

* Volunteered at the Autism Walk at Mercer County College * Ran a table at Juliette's birthday party * Camped out under the stars at Echo Hill * Collected items for victims of Hurricane Sandy * Volunteered at our Annual Breakfast with Santa event * Sang Christmas Carols in Annandale  and Lebanon Borough * Roller Skated together at "Hawaiian Luau" event * Dance with our dads at the Sweetheart Dance *Had a great time at the Older Girl Forum Laser Tag event * Supported the Relay for Life Event in CTMS * Ran a booth at Thinking Day * Visited with some powerful women from the community * celebrated the 101 anniversary of Girl Scouts * Ran a book drive for the Library * Sold cookies to our families, friends and neighbors * Ran Cookie Sales all over the Clinton Township and Lebanon Borough * Danced the night with our fathers and grandfathers * Cleaned the Raritan River * Represented SU 81 at Clinton Township Community Day * All girls and moms enjoyed a wonderful time at Camp Hoover for Camporee 2013 * attended and supported a scout on her quest to Gold with an Anti - Bullying Seminar * Had a great time in Mystic Connecticut * Were training in Stream Assessment * Played Laser Tag * Supported SAFE in Hunterdon's Men in Heels event*
