  • Cooking is a great ideas for Virtual Meetings - A pretzel recipe form cooking with the girls is a attached >>>>>>>>>>

  • An alternative to our Kaper Charts  https://wheelofnames.com

  • Other good councils to visit for ideas:

  • Instead of Wine and Paint which has been famous the last few year for Adults, they suggest  "Paint & Chip" for any of the level's Art badges.  Have a list of supplies and their favorite chips and drink for the parents to pick up from your house and then let all paint while on line.  You can also do this in a park.

  • Paint rocks with inspirational messages and do the same as the one above where you have parents pick up supplies if they do not have at home.

  • Convert the badges to virtual activities using at home supplies and YouTube.

  • Ask a subject matter experts to join you on ZOOM if not find a presentation in YouTub\

  • can purchase the badges from GSUSA and download especially the new badges, and can save to computer and then email to parents for the girls to work on and then show you what they have done, through pictures.   https://www.girlscoutshop.com/BADGES-PROGRAM/NEW-FEATURED-ITEMS4

  • Take virtual tours ( We mailed a few out in the spring I will resend)

  • Included a scavenger hunt in your meeting.  The scavenger hunt can include Girl Scout items (pic with another GS, craft that was done with the troop, GS T shirt, camp item).

  • There are games you can do online: www.jeopardylabs.com (and search for Girl Scouts) and Pictionary (by sharing the screen on Zoom and let them draw). You can use this website to have the girls generate random words for it, at different skill levels  https://randomwordgenerator.com/pictionary.php

  •  There is also a Virtual DIve Idea... Very cool...  this comes from a troop in Jersey City.  The contact there is Jodi at info@scoutsjc.org

  • The girls may be willing to lead a Dive for another troop by request - will need to check with the girls on that.  Anyone interested in that can write to info@scoutsjc.org

  •  Sign up to learn how to lead your own virtual dive: https://bit.ly/LeadDive
Jodi  will survey those interested to decide on the best day/time for all (or most) of those interested

  • Jodi has also pulled a effort together for on Brainstorm Ideas for "eco-friendly" incentives for product sales - and share your ideas here by 31 October 2020: https://bit.ly/EcoCookieFun

Kate Stephenson (from GSHNJ Council)  will compile all the ideas into a report and share with Girl Scout councils and Bakeries.

Good luck everyone and please reach back and give me some feedback on these ideas.
